If you are a College student, or in Classes 11 and 12, and are interested in researching, discovering, experiencing, photographing and blogging about the historical areas and monuments in your city, we are all ears!

We will be happy to publish your article on this website along with your profile.

We will also keep a count on page views and share that with you.

And if your article has good readership, or you contribute several successful articles, we will award you the Indiaheritage Certificate of Recognition for helping the cause of heritage awareness.

As a student you will benefit from :

  • the confidence of having real knowledge about your city’s history and culture, that will last a lifetime

Note for students interested in uploading their articles:

  • Submit your project by email or google drive or WeTransfer to : [email protected]
  • Please keep the length to approximately 1000-1500 words, with a maximum of 4 photos (in Word document, with photos embedded)
  • The photos could be in JPG or HEIC, ideally taken by yourself. But if you have used a stock-photo, please credit the same.
  • Include your name after the article, in this manner : “this blog is by XXX, a student of YYY school”
  • Ensure no infringement of copyright and avoid all plagiarism. This is a punishable offence. So, if you use a direct quote from any published or recorded source like an article (online or in print) or book, always acknowledge the source by crediting it, with a footnote. If you take information or ideas from another source, you can list these sources at the end of your blog, to indicate that this has been your reference list.
  • Ensure there is no objectionable content in your text.
